A monthly gift, month by month. Linda gives $50 on the first of every month. Each payment posts to her record on its own, alongside her spring appeal gift and today’s $75, with no one keying anything in.

  • Unlimited donation forms

    A form for every appeal, each with its own path on your donor portal, suggested amounts with impact descriptions, funds, sources, a goal meter, and your colors.

  • Cards, bank accounts and wallets

    Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, bank accounts verified with Plaid, or manual bank entry. Turn each one on or off per form.

  • Recurring giving

    Weekly, 1st & 15th, monthly, quarterly or annual gifts, with an optional number of payments, or schedule a one-time gift for later.

  • Donors can cover the fee

    An “Increase my impact” option adds the processing fee to the gift. You choose whether it starts checked, or hide it.

  • A donor portal

    Donors sign in with a code sent to their email to see giving history and receipts, download annual statements, manage payment methods, and change, pause or cancel a recurring gift.

  • Automatic gift receipts

    A receipt email goes out after every CoolPay gift, in your own words, and the gift is marked Receipted on the donor record.

  • Straight to the donor record

    Every online and recurring gift becomes a contribution on the donor’s record, with no import and no re-keying.

  • Payouts you can reconcile

    Each deposit lists its gifts, refunds and processor fees, and exports to Excel or CSV for your bookkeeper.

  • Tokenized payment methods

    Card and bank details are tokenized by the payment processor, so CoolFocus stores a token for recurring gifts, not the card number.

  • Premium

    Event tickets and sponsorships

    Paid tickets, sponsorships and peer-to-peer gifts check out through CoolPay, with fair-market value recorded for each ticket.

    CoolPay contributions sync to QuickBooks Online with the rest of your giving.

CoolPay is metered: cards are 2.9% + $0.30 and bank transfers (ACH) are 2.0% + $0.30 per successful transaction, from the pricing page. Donors can choose to cover the fee.
